"What is My Favourite Things?
At Cottage Vineyards, we believe that “the wine is the stage upon which the food is to perform”. We are food lovers first and wine lovers second. We love wine because we love food. But because we love food so much, we can hardly imagine having a meal without the benefit of wine. But, in the past all our wine dinners have been winemaker dinners, focused on the offerings of a single wine estate so that more often than not, the courses in each menu have been singularly created just for that night’s wine dinner with little chance:
(1) to find the same dishes available after the wine dinner; and
(2) to savour what each venue does best, those signature dishes polished over a multitude of repetitions.
Hence, with this “My Favourite Things” programme, we take a different approach, an eclectic wine & dine experience where the focus is to give you:
(1) the signature dishes of each dining establishment and
(2) the chance to partake in our personal favourites in each establishement
All enhanced with the magic of wine without the limitations of a mono-estate wine selection. And, if you liked the dishes and the wine pairings, you can repeat the same experience at your leisure time and time again.
“My Favourite Things” will bring you on a gastronomic journey throughout our favourite eateries in Hong Kong and Macau, where you can meet the chefs behind the scenes and discover the stories behind the soul of each dining establishment enhanced with wine pairings without limitations our way.
Each event will be run in the style of a subjective “Show and Tell” where our team will introduce each signature dish and chef and idea owner behind the scenes and how we chose the wine behind each pairing."
